Drowned Out

This subtitled edition of Drowned Out, released in London 2002, follows the story of a group of villagers who chose to stay at home and drown rather than make way for the Narmada Dam. Over a three year period, director, Franny Armstrong, filmed the documentary in central India with no budget, no electriciy, and no Hindi.
